VID IS UP!

FINALLY! It took me me a long while to decide on editing it. I was planning on doing a 1-minute video compilation of the best trip (and only trip) this summer. But I ended up with this. I hope my friends will like it--or better yet, I hope I still live. :-)

ERROR

My bestfriend Con and I have been having a really hard time connecting. Where are the wonders of technology when you badly need (and when you are ridiculously stoked to just kidnap your bestfriend--maybe take her out to lunch?) to rant to that one person who understands you all too well? Jeez! Globe, asan na?

Do you see me? I saw this in my laptop. Shot years ago--Salamat. GRRRR. Notice that this is the first ever format of Unlimited Texting.

I called you a million times. :-|

THE HILLSIFIED

I will not talk about how my one and only class went. Let's just say I badly needed to unwind and thanks to my friends, Shai, Toni, and Eleu, my stress was taken care of. We had lunch at Agave, Eastwood. Ola, Mexico!

While only some of you may know, my Kongkong (Grandpa) is not only the most loving Grandpa in the world, he is also quite generous. He took his apos shopping yesterday. And fortunately, I was part of the 1st batch--see there are 22 of us. Our shopping time is also our bonding moments. Most importantly, it is only the time that he would allow us to go to the mall without supervision.

This is Kong-kong and cousin Michelle. See, when he takes us shopping-- HE TAKES US SHOPPING.

This is Daniella at M&S trying on a cute pair of glasses! She is too cute for words.

MNG was on-sale but this pair was not. It was a hold-up but I have been lusting over this kind of jeans! Heavily influenced by the Olsen twins.

It is those sort that you wake up in the morning with no care for the world; you grab your grubbest pair not knowing that it does look good--the Wala Lang jeans, I would like to call it.

Check out the garter detail. Fits well at the bum, too! It is to die for!

Shai and I are addicted to The Hills. Over at lunch, I braided my hair just like LC's and Shai was sporting a black dress and big sunglasses. We were too funny.

I am not a fan of brushes and combs. Perfect for an LC hairstyle! I may have to braid my hair and Toni's from now on.

The rest is still unwritten. LOL.

TOO BAD I DIDN'T HAVE A CAMERA OR A PHONE WITH ME

I went out at our roof deck to have one more stick before I go to bed. And for the first time this summer, I have witnessed sunrise and it was an awesome sight--shades of orange and yellow with hints of pink. I thought, what a beautiful world! Then, I thought of poverty, a.k.a my empty wallet, no cash and max-ed out credit card.

Good morning, beautiful people!

STRESSOKAY

School's about to start. As I ponder on to that thought--the make or break moment--my stomach begins to churn and what more can I do than to retaliate? Sleeping when the sun comes up, eating junk food, watching re-runs, sleeping all day. THE LIFE! In order to stall my stress, I have downloaded several games (free and cracked) like, Cooking Dash, Mystery Case Files, County Fair, Farm Mania, and there is one game whose name I forget--it was a rip-off, that game.

I will share a photo from the Merville shoot last Monday. This photo is by Fred Romualdez and lighting by Jaime Alberto. I saw the bulk but this one's my favorite!

I will read now.

Can you enlarge photos and not decrease its quality?

WAKE ME

The revelation is a shocker, I must say. It comes with an offbeat trance that needs to be adjusted to make it in sync.

Two sentences at the top of my head. Jeez. I have been reading Jodi Picoult's My Sister's Keeper--finally snagged, borrowed rather, a copy from my cousin! I cannot wait for the movie even if I am just on the 150th page. Forgive me, I started to read it yesterday.

I had fun at the BC get-together last night at Shelley's. I do not think I can talk about it in detail considering that I spent half of the time at the toilet.

FRIDAY-SATURDAY

I had an amazing night with my friends last Friday at Danica Ang's Birthday celebration at Bugsy's. There was a pile of dishes (literally)--and the pile, ready for consumption. It is rare that I drink; I can actually say, I do not drink at all. So there I was engrossed in one of my friend's chi-chi when I shouted, THERE'S BEER IN MY ICED TEA. Everyone took a sip and said that there was none--not an ounce. Figures. I caught Dan pour beer. But thanks for the treat!

Here are some photos that I would like to share:

This is of me and the birthday girl. I am beyond happy she likes my gift, Topshop Undies!

It has been way too long, Girls.

Group shot of the closest friends I have in Pol.Eco.

Last Saturday is my RSF, Toni Fajardo's 21st. ALthough I have been present at her parties for the past how many years, I had to leave early this time because my driver, Tatang is on vacation and Pop's driver (who drove us that night) had to wake up early the next day.

Here is a photo of me with the Birthday girls, Toni and KC. Also glad that she likes my present!

I made a video surprise for Toni. And it is only now that I realize that it has the potential of me having to tear up while watching it. I thought that it would be more meaningful if I included the song I recorded (in a real studio, BEETEEDOUBLE-U) when I was 13. Forgive me, I tried.

I'LL ROCK, YOU ROLL

There is such a thing as Whore Rock.

1. You're a mountain that I'd like to climb. Not to conquer, but to share in the view.
2. You might think I’m incapable of loving a soul like yours.
3. Sneak down the street. Some kind of secret race. They'll carry on, won't notice we're gone, so easily replaced.
4. I could spill my guts out
wearing my best little girl pout
and I almost missed it. But nobody said that this was gonna be easy.
5. You are the villain that sells a line of dark fantastic passion

6. So write down every little thing that makes you love me
7. He is the best now. She’s under pressure. These nights will go so quietly.
8. All of our friends saw from the start. So, why didn’t we believe it, too?
9. And I can’t sleep now but I never do anyway.
0. She walks to the sound of her own drum
One minute she’s there the next she’s gone.

POOF

To make up for the lost time (and also because I am tormented with guilt), I will post entries until I fall asleep. For now, I will post photos AGAIN. Later on, I will post my Top Ten Songs for the past 2 weeks. See, I have been planning on posting it awhile back--it has been rotting in my drafts, thank you very much.

This one is of me and Clara at Mommy Daiz's Birthday. I was trying not to rely on my bangs anymore. Side-sweep-just-a-little-over-the-ear--forehead exposed. :-)

Denim is IN! I have had this vest since January hoping to find a good use for it. I got it for a cheap price too! This was taken outside our house in Baguio. Thanks, Diane for the photo!

Aiko's visit. Ahh. Too much to say. I missed her terribly. Anj's surprise was Er.

This was at Barcino. Aiko's last night in the PI. I shall devote a blog entry on this.

This was taken at Cuisine. My cousins, Achi Essa and Clara, and I had dinner at Madison, Greenbelt 5. The food was good and the service was excellent. Plus, there is free Wi-Fi so I had time to Plurk and Twitter while waiting for our order. Achi Essa treated us to dinner and I treated Clara at Cafeteria (for Late Midnight Snack), where I ordered Bacon, Pesto, and Cheese Sandwich! I am now craving for it. And some Barbarella too!

That is all.

HEADS UP

I haven't been posting, forgive me. It is just that I am so preoccupied with NOTHING--it does not make any sense, excuse the term, I am in search for the right word, so NOTHING will do at the moment.

Just a heads up on the happenings (a.k.a. my current slate):
1. Arrival of Aiko and Er (quick visit for Aiko)
2. Resto review (I swear I need to take a lot of photos of food)
3. My last year in college (HOPEFULLY)
4. ...And my plans thereafter
5. My supposed Baguio trip (yet again)
6. The new 'do

Oh, I can kill myself for making this update. Nothing deep there.

Cheerios.

P.S.
Tomorrow, I promise. I just need inspiration, like a painting, for example.

PEOPLE

For the longest time this summer, I have FINALLY updated my Chictopia! Click on the link and see my blog.

This is the photo I posted. I hope it garners as much comments as the other photos.

Cheerios, Chicas!

P.S.
I do not think that imitation is the best form of flattery. I think it is annoying. Don't you agree?

IT'S COLDER THAN IT OUGHT TO BE

The Baguio trip with my friends (Anj, Dan, Dei, JC, and Ib) was nothing but fun. We stayed at my place. Our stay in Baguio comprises mostly of fun-filled adventures and I do not intend to spill the beans. Aside from the Forks-feel we experienced, the hurtful songs sang in the karaoke made us a wee bit nostalgic. But it is a good thing we were all there to comfort each other--with booze in hand, of course! It is quite a long drive going to and from Baguio, especially the bumper to bumper traffic in Urdaneta, but we all got stories to tell so, let's just say, we didn't "feel" it. All in all, it was a blast. Just you wait for the videos we made. I will edit the video SOON. Meanwhile, I will be sharing some photos taken out from the 500+ photos we took during the trip.

This is the usual scene. Everything happened in the living room! (L-R): Anj, Diane, Dan, Me, Dei, and JC.

This is a photo that I took of Diane and Anj. It is my favorite out of the bunch. No edit, except for the watermark! :)

This is taken by Diane with her SLR. This is Anj sporting her Prada bag. I LIIIIKE!

Karryl was also in Baguio and since she cannot come over my place, Dei, JC and I visited her at The Manor. It was really good to seE her!

This is a group shot taken at the park on timer and tripod c/o Diane.

Photo by Diane. I love our outfits!

With Diane and Anj.

The Wowowee man himself! He walked up to my car and asked us if we wanted to watch Wowowee. We are so excited!

I WILL CONTINUE ON LATER.
