There's nothing that could ever make me feel better than a cup of coffee. I had no classes today so I went to Starbucks, just a couple of blocks away from home. I was so excited that my Shoulder Sash (made by Mauban's finest couturier, Aling Taning from Bgy. Bagong Pag-asa). So this is what wore to Starbucks today:
I thought that a cup of coffee is the only thing that could make my day complete. But... I found the Boy Scout Neckerchief I ordered from Multiple.com. I thought it ended there, laying glamorously on my bed was the blue vintage coat I ordered from pBay! Oh my, sweetness! I am the happiest girl alive! So, I decided to walk my dog as I am so psyched (and totally cannot wait) to wear them! It cost me a fortune and I am not one to splurge.
What I wore underneath is boring, even for me. What do you think?
Black Tube Top by Natasha, Checkered Araro Pants by Freego Jeans, Scarf worn as belt (thrifted), and Blue Patent Shoes by Sugus.
I finally found the bag ordered from Secossana last week. I haven't gotten a chance to take a picture of it. So here it goes. The neon green color just matches the color of my eyes. Jealous much?
My inspiration for the month is Denisia Torresia. Her Fall collection is superb. She mixes men and women's wear; vintage and modern accessories; and more! I have yet to do my research on her. I am so excited for Friday. I get to interview her. We meet at the first-class mall in the P.I. (Centerpoint) at 12:00 noon-1:00 pm. Soon thereafter, I will accompany her to one of her inspirations, Theta! I am excited as a wild boar. Ten snaps and a million hands down to you!

DADDEH
After calling/bugging a few friends about my mishap earlier, I called Pop (whom I haven't seen for almost a month). Thanks for making me feel better, Pa! Go to Manila naman.
Thanks for making me feel better. You know how bothered I get when these things come up.

LIKE 'EM EMPTY
If I "Empty" my Trash folder, I'd erase the very last memory of you. WOOOOOH-KAAAY. Where did that come from??? Okay, I've had my "Me" time the whole weekend. It comprises of my very-unlikely-to-happen-this-time movie marathon (watched Rachel Getting Married, Made of Honor, and Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist)--I'd watch Vicky Christina Barcelona BUT duty calls; my never ending pigging out (Cheetos Jalapenos, Coke Light, Pepperoni Bread Sticks, and my homemade Iced Vanilla Latte); and waking up at noon, staying in bed and stink til 5pm HA HA HA HA.
Oh, dear. IE is haunting me. I cannot take it anymore considering I haven't done anything yet (Sorry, Anj). I just like to say it, para naman "I BELONG" ako sa mga blockmates ko dahil alam ko naghihirap sila ngayon.
Naghihingalo na pala printer ko. Ang senseless. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, PATRICK.
Cheerios, Papitos!
P.S.
I ate Danggit and 5 cups of rice for dinner.
P.P.S.
Yung "cup", pareho lang sa extra rice ng McDonald's.

TWO YEARS
It has been two years since my brother's death. I still cry and think of him everyday. I wish he never washed the X-trail. :( But things happen. I have good memories of him. That's enough. I MISS YOU.
Franco and I are here in Manila. Zia and Mom are in Quezon.
Over YM:
Zia Lim: i miss you, achi
Zia Lim: i know you miss me too
Zia Lim: don't ya?
Trizia Lim: i miss you, shobs!
Trizia Lim: seriously
Zia Lim: oh i know
Zia Lim: OH YOUUU
Trizia Lim: :@)
Never forget. Everyday.

LAST "FULL" SHOW
Sarcasm is the key. HA!
Eto nalang, kinilig si Mrs. Annie Lim kay Matt. Ha ha ha! Cute ni Annie Lim!
As much as I want to upload photos here and post an update, I am stuck with IPE and do not want to do anything else but stare at my laptop.
Goodnight!

BY FRANCO
Franco, my brother, asked me to print his monologue for him. Read and enjoy:
I remember what my wife told me. "If I want to be a good father, I shouldn't be my father" she was right because my father gave me a hard time growing up.
I remember the time when my 4-year old son was trying to get up and walk, he held my hand, and I let go as soon as he stood up. But after a few steps he fell, I picked him up as soon as he was about to cry. As time passed by, my son was at his teenage years—full of curiosity and deceit. He got addicted to all kinds of drugs and other vices, that’s when I realized that he fell again just like before. So I picked him up. Took him to rehab and let go once more. By the time he graduated college, I thought my role as a father is done. He was planning to have a family of his own because he has a stable job. I visited him at work one time; because I was driving near by. As I got to where he was working, there was an ambulance singing in front of me. I rushed to look for my son. I saw him lifelessly on the ground. I tried to pick him up one last time. I know I'm old but my hands are strong as ever. But this time I didn't let go.... He was the one who did. I lay
flat on the ground myself, weeping. My tears blinded my eyes as I saw a hand reaching out to me. It was my father's hand. Picking me up once more.

BOO-HOO
I've been hunting for IPE topics for hours now. And I came up with this one: role of regional trade agreements on negotiations under the Doha declaration. Does this even make sense? FML: I found an IPE topic (my ticket to taking the final exam) only to find out (from Danie Thomas) that a) WTO topics are not allowed anymore and b) one of my blockmates might be working on the same topic, so fuck my life. At least, I wouldn't be asked to fuck a tree.
ANYWAY.
I have stuff to work on besides hunting for, what might be considered as, an "impossible dream". I was given THE brown envelope for the Summer Internship Program of Political Economy. Oh, joy. I passed my CV and the institute that was in accordance to my preferences is the Institute of Popular Democracy in Teacher's Village. Three more requirements to pass, an interview, then comes the moment of truth. I'm losing hope in facing Pol.Eco. every minute of the day but I hope they accept me. At least there would be some direction in my life.
I bought two cans of beer awhile ago only to find out that my bestfriend would be drinking them tomorrow night.
Cherrios!
P.S.
Untouched by the Veronicas isn't so bad! Thanks little christine!

CHERRY, CHERRY, BOOM-BOOM
I have been updating my iPod for hours now. Never mind school work (at least for awhile). Anyway, I've been downing (stealing from Franco's iTunes) my iPod with pop and rock.
Lady Gaga is genius. Eye Alaska rocks. Lights is okay.
Although these songs have different genres, I play them continuously as if they roll.
Eh eh (nothing else I can say) by Lady Gaga
Drive my soul by Lights
Through willows and streams by Eye Alaska
Cheerios and post some songs!

Pop had Ahya D.A. when he was 17 years old. He had me when he was 20. Nothing wrong there but this one's just ridiculous! Oh, young dads.

YOUR BABY IS A KIDNEY
Neither is it a boy nor a girl but a kidney! Yes, a kidney.I heard over the radio (Magic) that donating a kidney could be done in a process similar to childbirth. This is not fallacious! Johnson, a 48-year-old woman has gone through this process when she donated a kidney to her niece. The effect of this would be, of course, more female kidney donors. Doctors assure donors that this process would be less and less painful as compared to the traditional and former, as donors would only incur 2 pea-sized scars under the navel and 1 down there. However, further studies and practices should be done so as to avoid the possibility of rupture of the kidneys during the operation. GALING! Click here!!! Don't you girls find it amazing how powerful we are? Vagina saves the world!
I am writing and researching about vaginas and kidneys because I am literally put ON HOLD in Research Methods.

PAS-YAWN
All I could say is EW. This is gonna be one of those blog entries that is full of loathe towards people who implicitly claim that they are as powerful as President-Elect Barack Obama and Oprah Winfrey (I extend my heartfelt apology to those who do not believe that these two should be used in the same sentence--same adjective, nonetheless. To me, both are indistinguishable!), as macho and batak as David Hasselhoff and People's Champ, Manny Pacquiao (who are two DIFFERENT people; easy to tell apart), as intelligent as Einstein, and as fashion-forward as Agyness Deyn and Happy Hippie. NO. I am not all of these, no. My point is, why pretend when you can just go with the classic HUMILITY and most importantly, STAY AT HOME, where no one can see you. I'm kidding. And mean.
My point is: act and dress accordingly. If you're Einsteins, check the date, it's 2009. My goodness!
Chill, all of you are cool so FUCK you all!
Funny, 'coz Sarah, Abby, and I were in Starbucks awhile ago--aren't we all?--talking about how important it is to remain humble and carefree.
P.S.
I have no fashion sense, too but I am working on it.
AND AND AND, my Clooney Count hit 7,000! Last time I checked, it was 6,900 something which means that some people do visit my blog! Thanks! See, I entertain through the chatterbox.

SHOW ME HOW
You know what they say, the strongest, most comical and outrageous people you know are the ones who are weak deep inside. It's not that they deliberately and intentionally blind themselves of the fact that other people exist in their "perfect, happy world". Truth is, they see you. They think about you constantly. They imagine leaving their "perfect, happy world" in exchange for yours. It's not that they weren't there. They're just too scared to admit it.
CROO.
I've been meaning to upload this song that I made. Oooh, it's the one that I mentioned in a blog posted earlier. Like I said, I haven't written the verses yet, so all I have here is the chorus. Tell me what you think! BE nice though. HA HA HA HA.

BRIDE WARS

FUNNY! We were taught that it is IMPORTANT to treat ourselves to something nice after a hard day's work. It's been a looong time that I went to the movies with friends until last Thursday, after International Economics with Sir Jimmy. Bride Wars at Shangril-la with Abby, Anj, Danica, Kinah, and Jess. KAGULO phase. We stayed in Starbucks, Pearl Drive after to study. Never ending, mukha na kaming reading.
I stayed in tonight. I'm halfway done through ComPol and SPEC. Yay! I do not cram anymore (at least for the past week and hopefully the next and the next and so on).
I am a victim of prank calls. I think it's because my mobile numbers are so easy to dut-dut-dut, you know. I'd understand Sun Cellular, as it is unlimited calls 24/7. The problem is, prank Sun Cellular callers wouldn't STOP bothering you and you'd be forced to answer them prank callers. I answered and said: FUCK YOU, PATHETIC LITTLE TWIT, GO AHEAD AND KILL YOURSELF. I also learned to divert the calls to 911-11-11 and our phone number in Baguio. There you go, no more prank callers. See, I'd understand Sun, but Globe and Smart, tangina nalang ha?!
Very weird post but I am on break so I am free writing.
Cheerios!
P.S.
Looking forward to another hell week. Ang dami nag-cut sa IPE.

CREATE POST
Aside from the unusual (not complaining) 0 degrees, IPE makes me shiverrrrrr. HA HA HA.
Mr. Avila: ...Mag-kawaay talaga si [Stephen] Krasner saka si [Susan] Strange. You know, Strange wrote an article, "WAKE UP, KRASNER!"
HA HA HA.
Cris Gonda: Ish, yung kay Krasner: "I'M AWAKE, STRANGE!"
Even more HA HA HA HA.
I've been meaning to print old photos using a Canon Selphy printer that I never knew still existed and is cool, as well. BUT, it prints photos straight from a Canon digital camera--no editing, no retouching, ONLY trimming (pina-sosyal na CROP, or CRAP. HA HA HA). It's Diane's birthday today and I plan on giving her post card photos, or at least I planned to. So, I ended up printing 3 UNEDITED photos because I don't know how to transfer edited photos from my laptop to my camera's memory card. Help??? Or hindi talaga pwede?
I wrote another song, well, a chorus--6 lines, to be exact. I sang to it, GOODLUCK. It's been a looong time since I've used GarageBand. It's really fun to use, so you go get a MacBook. I just felt like writing a few lines, but I ended up mixing instruments for the background music or melody? Um, what? Basta yung tunog ng song. It's based on a friend's story.
I am talking rubbish.
You know the rooftop scene? I will write something about that.
Cheerios, Papitos!
P.S. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DIANE IBAY! (Click on the link, go bother her, or leave a message/greeting on her tagboard!)

What keeps me up? Cigarettes and Neon Moon by Brooks and Dunn. I've been listening to it non-stop. Download and enjoy! And then I say, no pun intended. Kanta lang ng kanta.
Goodluck to me. I hope I survive this week. :|

DIGGING FOR YOU
I am desperate. I have been sleeping right after sunrise for weeks now -- talk about taking advantage of the break. I've been lying awake for an hour now, staring into nothingness. My laptop, I already stashed away thinking that it will help me gain back, what is now foreign to me, "normal". I am now using cel in making this entry. I put my iPod on shuffle. A game that I usually play. I've gone mental, forgive me. Another half hour has passed and my player has been playing 2 of 5787. I'm amusing myself with a scene on my mind. A music video in which Chad Murray -- "Michael" has been scap-d since we got together in 2009 (it's 2010) -- and I star in. "Perfect Grave" by Social Order. A bit too whiney for my taste but at least I get to be with Chaddie.
Ew. I've gone mental.

YOUR SHIP IS HIGH
You know the saying, whatever it is that you do, have, feel, and all the possible verbs you can think of on New Year's Day, you will innately possess all throughout the year? I scheduled myself -- even if I'm on break, and I'm the type of person who'd take advantage of ANY break doing whatever -- to start doing some school work. Walang ka-bibohan involved. FYI: my blockmates are way ahead of schedule, but in my defense... NOTHING. OK. I just got lazy and I think I'm losing my "drive". SO... I started with my planner, which I claimed from Starbucks, 2 weeks after the promo started (thanks to school, Starbucks has had more than a few drinks per Pol.Eco. student). Here's to creativity all year round! Not bad, eh? It's kind of festive on the eyes. These are just magazine cut-outs of what I intend to stand up for (verbally), especially on the month of January. My mission, as is Hilary Duff's, END HUNGER.

DON'T RUB IT EEN
Ib and I were supposed to hang out with Franco and JB at Four by Force, which is a cool place to drink and chill with friends, by the way (located at Granada St. (?), near the parols). I don't mean to rub this "een", Ib, if ever you're reading this. She lost her wallet with 5,000 in it. I just travelled to Marikina (with Tatang, of course). Fun night with the Badet. Just get ready for the emotional blog entry in the latter part, I am just thankful for our friendship. BADET FOREVER.

UNTITLED
On Christmas Eve, the whole family feasted on food that could last us for a week and handed out gifts wrapped in pretty gift wrapping paper. There were no carolers outside, considering it was 12 midnight but we could hear the children lining up.
Christmas in Mauban will always and forever be FUN, plus some other MIXED EMOTIONS to complete the baggage. Since 1988, the Lim family has been giving a one-time dole outs to people who are not so blessed in life. An apple, an ABL shipping shirt, and money (they started with P10 in 1988 and escalated—a new word in my vocab, I intend to use this in everyday conversations, get ready IPE!—to P50 this year). Almost 2,600 people—children, grandparents, and parents, lined up outside our house this year for toys, old clothes and toys, an apple, P50, an ABL (credit: Albert B. Lim, my Kong-kong) shipping or a Skippy shirt for the little ones, which is truly bongga (the Skippy shirts, I mean)! Kidding aside, these kids will work their way through the crowd, fight danger even—climbing up the pointed rails of our home in sheer desperation just to get what, fifty-bucks. While I was busy, giving plastics to the kids whose smell I wouldn’t usually let pass (thanks to my colds, I got absolved from it, but that’s not my point), it got me thinking how much pride parents, especially fathers would have to put down while watching their hopeful children accept these things, when in truth, (or just what I know of) they should be the one providing these things. I mean, in the world that I know, or choose to know, these are just things that are handed to us, these things are complained about, “just 50 pesos? Anong bibilin ko, candy?” or “ayoko yan, hindi branded!”
Reality bites. Hard. And as much of a cliché the saying is, it is true. Go to Mauban on holidays. Hear the children cry in agony because others are stepping on their feet. See the grandparents faint because of the stampede that the children caused.
The gates do not open until 8:00 am.

I think it's the first time, at least this sem, that I slept at 11:00pm and woke up at EXACTLY 4:20 am by 3 alarm clocks, which I thought was impossible for me to do. I've never woken up by an alarm clock EVER. So, it's a first, literally. Okay, I have to read.

ONE MAN'S TRASH IS STILL HIS TREASURE
Okay, not the best but hey, I TRIED. I was trying to figure out what to do for my creative shot for the yearbook picture. I came up with Phoebe Buffay and Andy Sachs. But which one? I was rummaging through my closet and I found these: A worn-out, black vest/cardigan and a checkered polo, and my once-worn bootsies. I just don't know when to wear the ensemble because it would perfect for an evening date (left) and an afternoon shopping trip with the girlfriends (right). BUT both are out of reach so, maybe next year? OKAY.

IT'S 4:03 AM AND I JUST WOKE UP
This is one of those columns that Mr. Avila talked about last Saturday. "I love Chocolate cake..." Who cares and SO WHAT?! "I got mad at a girl in church awhile ago, I hissed (with all the might not to use any obscene language), 'SOMEONE'S PRAYING BEHIND YOU'".

SURPRISE, POP
I guess Clooney will be having his much needed rest after a hell-hole of a semester. My dad has been bugging me to "pimp" his laptop and asked me to download songs between cheesey and okay-cheesey by Elton John and The Cure, respectively.
