HIDE AND SEEK

Hello, how are you? It has been too long, I apologize.
Anyway, I decided to click on the Bookmarks section on my MacBook (Wee, I feel so powerful typing that in. Lol.) and visited my favorite websites. Good news, one and all. I have found the picture that would best explain the HIDE AND SEEK I have as a tagline in most of my social network page and also here, in my blog.

I got it here. What do you think?

I got a call from my good friend, who has been long-lost since the 1980s--I exaggerate. Marc Law, in our 1-hour conversation via mobile, said that a relationship does not turn out right or what we perceive to be "right" because the GUY did not make/do the right approach. Or in my take, manifest the right moves. The right approach, I do not know, not even the slightest bit of idea. The right moves, I dare not cave.

This one, which I got here, screams CAROUSELAMBRA. I would kill for the hair, the sunglasses (which I think is very Osborne meets Larger Than Life), the jacket, oooh the jacket!

Mondays are for the cool people, as Shai, my very good friend puts it. After class, I drive to Eastwood to have lunch with my friends. We have been doing this for two Mondays now and hopefully, all other Mondays to come.

Cheerios, Papitos.

P.S.
Hope you'd fill in my chatbox with comments so that I gain the inspiration to blog religiously. Just a simple HI would do. Mwa!

VID IS UP!

FINALLY! It took me me a long while to decide on editing it. I was planning on doing a 1-minute video compilation of the best trip (and only trip) this summer. But I ended up with this. I hope my friends will like it--or better yet, I hope I still live. :-)

Tell me what you think!

ERROR

My bestfriend Con and I have been having a really hard time connecting. Where are the wonders of technology when you badly need (and when you are ridiculously stoked to just kidnap your bestfriend--maybe take her out to lunch?) to rant to that one person who understands you all too well? Jeez! Globe, asan na?

Do you see me? I saw this in my laptop. Shot years ago--Salamat. GRRRR. Notice that this is the first ever format of Unlimited Texting.

I called you a million times. :-|

THE HILLSIFIED

I will not talk about how my one and only class went. Let's just say I badly needed to unwind and thanks to my friends, Shai, Toni, and Eleu, my stress was taken care of. We had lunch at Agave, Eastwood. Ola, Mexico!

While only some of you may know, my Kongkong (Grandpa) is not only the most loving Grandpa in the world, he is also quite generous. He took his apos shopping yesterday. And fortunately, I was part of the 1st batch--see there are 22 of us. Our shopping time is also our bonding moments. Most importantly, it is only the time that he would allow us to go to the mall without supervision.

This is Kong-kong and cousin Michelle. See, when he takes us shopping-- HE TAKES US SHOPPING.

This is Daniella at M&S trying on a cute pair of glasses! She is too cute for words.

MNG was on-sale but this pair was not. It was a hold-up but I have been lusting over this kind of jeans! Heavily influenced by the Olsen twins.

It is those sort that you wake up in the morning with no care for the world; you grab your grubbest pair not knowing that it does look good--the Wala Lang jeans, I would like to call it.

Check out the garter detail. Fits well at the bum, too! It is to die for!

Shai and I are addicted to The Hills. Over at lunch, I braided my hair just like LC's and Shai was sporting a black dress and big sunglasses. We were too funny.

I am not a fan of brushes and combs. Perfect for an LC hairstyle! I may have to braid my hair and Toni's from now on.

The rest is still unwritten. LOL.

TOO BAD I DIDN'T HAVE A CAMERA OR A PHONE WITH ME

I went out at our roof deck to have one more stick before I go to bed. And for the first time this summer, I have witnessed sunrise and it was an awesome sight--shades of orange and yellow with hints of pink. I thought, what a beautiful world! Then, I thought of poverty, a.k.a my empty wallet, no cash and max-ed out credit card.

Good morning, beautiful people!

STRESSOKAY

School's about to start. As I ponder on to that thought--the make or break moment--my stomach begins to churn and what more can I do than to retaliate? Sleeping when the sun comes up, eating junk food, watching re-runs, sleeping all day. THE LIFE! In order to stall my stress, I have downloaded several games (free and cracked) like, Cooking Dash, Mystery Case Files, County Fair, Farm Mania, and there is one game whose name I forget--it was a rip-off, that game.

I will share a photo from the Merville shoot last Monday. This photo is by Fred Romualdez and lighting by Jaime Alberto. I saw the bulk but this one's my favorite!

I will read now.

Can you enlarge photos and not decrease its quality?

WAKE ME

The revelation is a shocker, I must say. It comes with an offbeat trance that needs to be adjusted to make it in sync.

Two sentences at the top of my head. Jeez. I have been reading Jodi Picoult's My Sister's Keeper--finally snagged, borrowed rather, a copy from my cousin! I cannot wait for the movie even if I am just on the 150th page. Forgive me, I started to read it yesterday.

I had fun at the BC get-together last night at Shelley's. I do not think I can talk about it in detail considering that I spent half of the time at the toilet.

FRIDAY-SATURDAY

I had an amazing night with my friends last Friday at Danica Ang's Birthday celebration at Bugsy's. There was a pile of dishes (literally)--and the pile, ready for consumption. It is rare that I drink; I can actually say, I do not drink at all. So there I was engrossed in one of my friend's chi-chi when I shouted, THERE'S BEER IN MY ICED TEA. Everyone took a sip and said that there was none--not an ounce. Figures. I caught Dan pour beer. But thanks for the treat!

Here are some photos that I would like to share:

This is of me and the birthday girl. I am beyond happy she likes my gift, Topshop Undies!

It has been way too long, Girls.

Group shot of the closest friends I have in Pol.Eco.

Last Saturday is my RSF, Toni Fajardo's 21st. ALthough I have been present at her parties for the past how many years, I had to leave early this time because my driver, Tatang is on vacation and Pop's driver (who drove us that night) had to wake up early the next day.

Here is a photo of me with the Birthday girls, Toni and KC. Also glad that she likes my present!

I made a video surprise for Toni. And it is only now that I realize that it has the potential of me having to tear up while watching it. I thought that it would be more meaningful if I included the song I recorded (in a real studio, BEETEEDOUBLE-U) when I was 13. Forgive me, I tried.

Cheerios!

I'LL ROCK, YOU ROLL

There is such a thing as Whore Rock.

1. You're a mountain that I'd like to climb. Not to conquer, but to share in the view.
2. You might think I’m incapable of loving a soul like yours.
3. Sneak down the street. Some kind of secret race. They'll carry on, won't notice we're gone, so easily replaced.
4. I could spill my guts out
wearing my best little girl pout
and I almost missed it. But nobody said that this was gonna be easy.
5. You are the villain that sells a line of dark fantastic passion

6. So write down every little thing that makes you love me
7. He is the best now. She’s under pressure. These nights will go so quietly.
8. All of our friends saw from the start. So, why didn’t we believe it, too?
9. And I can’t sleep now but I never do anyway.
0. She walks to the sound of her own drum
One minute she’s there the next she’s gone.

POOF

To make up for the lost time (and also because I am tormented with guilt), I will post entries until I fall asleep. For now, I will post photos AGAIN. Later on, I will post my Top Ten Songs for the past 2 weeks. See, I have been planning on posting it awhile back--it has been rotting in my drafts, thank you very much.

This one is of me and Clara at Mommy Daiz's Birthday. I was trying not to rely on my bangs anymore. Side-sweep-just-a-little-over-the-ear--forehead exposed. :-)

Denim is IN! I have had this vest since January hoping to find a good use for it. I got it for a cheap price too! This was taken outside our house in Baguio. Thanks, Diane for the photo!

Aiko's visit. Ahh. Too much to say. I missed her terribly. Anj's surprise was Er.

This was at Barcino. Aiko's last night in the PI. I shall devote a blog entry on this.

This was taken at Cuisine. My cousins, Achi Essa and Clara, and I had dinner at Madison, Greenbelt 5. The food was good and the service was excellent. Plus, there is free Wi-Fi so I had time to Plurk and Twitter while waiting for our order. Achi Essa treated us to dinner and I treated Clara at Cafeteria (for Late Midnight Snack), where I ordered Bacon, Pesto, and Cheese Sandwich! I am now craving for it. And some Barbarella too!

That is all.

HEADS UP

I haven't been posting, forgive me. It is just that I am so preoccupied with NOTHING--it does not make any sense, excuse the term, I am in search for the right word, so NOTHING will do at the moment.

Just a heads up on the happenings (a.k.a. my current slate):
1. Arrival of Aiko and Er (quick visit for Aiko)
2. Resto review (I swear I need to take a lot of photos of food)
3. My last year in college (HOPEFULLY)
4. ...And my plans thereafter
5. My supposed Baguio trip (yet again)
6. The new 'do

Oh, I can kill myself for making this update. Nothing deep there.

Cheerios.

P.S.
Tomorrow, I promise. I just need inspiration, like a painting, for example.

PEOPLE

For the longest time this summer, I have FINALLY updated my Chictopia! Click on the link and see my blog.

This is the photo I posted. I hope it garners as much comments as the other photos.

Cheerios, Chicas!

I do not think that imitation is the best form of flattery. I think it is annoying. Don't you agree?

IT'S COLDER THAN IT OUGHT TO BE

The Baguio trip with my friends (Anj, Dan, Dei, JC, and Ib) was nothing but fun. We stayed at my place. Our stay in Baguio comprises mostly of fun-filled adventures and I do not intend to spill the beans. Aside from the Forks-feel we experienced, the hurtful songs sang in the karaoke made us a wee bit nostalgic. But it is a good thing we were all there to comfort each other--with booze in hand, of course! It is quite a long drive going to and from Baguio, especially the bumper to bumper traffic in Urdaneta, but we all got stories to tell so, let's just say, we didn't "feel" it. All in all, it was a blast. Just you wait for the videos we made. I will edit the video SOON. Meanwhile, I will be sharing some photos taken out from the 500+ photos we took during the trip.

This is the usual scene. Everything happened in the living room! (L-R): Anj, Diane, Dan, Me, Dei, and JC.

This is a photo that I took of Diane and Anj. It is my favorite out of the bunch. No edit, except for the watermark! :)

This is taken by Diane with her SLR. This is Anj sporting her Prada bag. I LIIIIKE!

Karryl was also in Baguio and since she cannot come over my place, Dei, JC and I visited her at The Manor. It was really good to seE her!

This is a group shot taken at the park on timer and tripod c/o Diane.

Photo by Diane. I love our outfits!

With Diane and Anj.

The Wowowee man himself! He walked up to my car and asked us if we wanted to watch Wowowee. We are so excited!

I WILL CONTINUE ON LATER.

ALL MY BAGS ARE PACKED

For the Baguio trip with my friends. I will meet them in 5 hours and I am not sure if I will be able to sleep. Too much excitement, I know. We will be there for 3 days and 2 nights but the things that I have packed are unbelievable. I am the ultimate Girl Scout.

I will run down the things at the top of my head right now. curling iron, straightening iron, DVD player, meds and vitamins, bandages, Japanese Cherry Blossom lotion (I am crazy about the scent), cover-up, and sunblock. Yes, sunblock.

Okay, I will blog from Baguio.

FORMAT: COMPLETE

I have a lot of things to be thankful for and one of them is my awesome, crazy, and always-there-for- you friends. This was literally the first time we went out COMPLETE. We have Chesca to thank and of course, the ever so reliable Plurk. I could not even think of the right words to describe this night, but clearly (and as will be seen in the photos I will share), it was AWESOME.

Kudos to all. Here are the photos--the evidence of a fun-filled night!

L-R: Me, Con, Laverne, Kat, Shai, Karryl, Kandee, Chesca, and Karla. Click on the link and notice that most of us are on Plurk. See, while at Bugsy's, we Plurked and Plurked because we are cool like that.

Chesca, my sobriety sister, makes me laugh real hard. I go bonkers when she tells her stories. Karla and Laverne would just laugh when I go bonkers. According to them, I am drunken crazy by all accounts. And no, I do not drink.

Con ordered spaghetti and MEATBALL. Yes, meatball and Kat poked it. Yes, just a meatball. Shai and Kandz are my official format bloggers. I hope Shai does not go overboard with her redbull and Kandz, with her Weng-Weng. Funny, I associate Weng-Wengs with Kandz. Let's just hope that I don't go: "Chief, isang Kandz", because that would be extra weird.

The Fashionista-slash-Designer and the Mommy-slash-Beauty Queen. I could not be any prouder. I am tearing up like a Soccer Mom watching her son make a goal.

Weng-Weng, I mean, Kandz and Iced Tea, I mean, Ish. We go way back. I love you forever. An excerpt from Kandz's blog entry:

Looking back, I see the rough roads we had to take, I hear the hurtful words we had to say, I feel the pain we had to overcome. No one knew we'd get this far. If I'd be asked to go back to those times, I'd gladly do it because it was all worth it.
YOU ARE ALL WORTH IT
.

Con and I got new phones and we did not, in any way (because it is quite impossible to reach her for the last couple of weeks) talk about getting new ones. She is the person who knows me all too well for me to even drop a tad bit of a lie. I love her like a sister.

I LOVE YOU ALL. I CANNOT OUT INTO WORDS HOW GRATEFUL I AM THAT WE GOT TO DO THIS AGAIN. NEXT YEAR, I PROMISE TO BRING A LOVER.

Me: Oh! Imagine, ten years we'll all have husbands and there will be (doing a head count, 1..2..3.. NINE), twenty of us!
Karla and Kandz were trying to let the number 20 sink in.
Me: Dalawa asawa ko, BAKIT?

OKAY.

We have a format. Name and surname. Deal? K.

Cheerios, Chicas!

LET US FASHIONIZE

In need of something to write about, I go to one of my favorite blogs and ended up in MyStylePill's site. Her blog is very interesting and I have fallen into buzz while reading her blog. I was thrilled to just look at the photos, enjoying myself while fighting the feeling of envy--I wish I was that thin. After minutes of complying to "open link in new tab", I got to Emerald City: OlsensAnonymous. I am such a huge fan of theirs and their style is just beyond amazing. I wish I was armed with that swagger.

This is the photo that caught my attention, hence the re-posting.

The best part of her ensemble is how she wore her watch. I love how it may fall out when fishing something from her bag. Also, notice how her accessories are randomly put on, it is brilliant! I have never been a fan of mixing gold and silver. I am kind of apprehensive about it but MK made it happen and made me think otherwise.

I better fish out all of my watches. Felt the urgent need to have them adjusted to PLUS TWO.

Million claps to the Olsen twins.

I am busy looking through the best photo album ever.

SEAN'S "19TH"

OK. He started to turn 19 two years ago and every year since then, he proclaims that he's just turned 19. We had dinner at Myron's Place, Greenbelt 5--GOOD FOOD, and headed to Bugsy's after. I can go on forever saying good things about my friends but it's 2:50am and I still have a paper to do. Bottom line is: I LOVE YOU, GUYS.

I grabbed photos from Triccie and these are some of the photos that I would like to share with you guys.

Birthday boy: Sean Go (or should I say, Sebastian?). Thanks for dinner. We love you forever.

Group photo outside Myron's Place. The food is awesome and the Red Grape Fruitshake tastes fantastic! I will upload the photos later.

Three people are missing. :\

The birthday boy with me sporting a "Harem Johphur" pants that I bought months ago. I was teased earlier that night for wearing pajamas by Franco.

The three Ts as Toni, my rock sister, puts it. (L-R: Trizia, Toni, and Triccie). Spot me channeling a Christmas tree--Moss Green eyeshadow and ultra red lipstick. I still think it is beyond rad even if I am missing a tinsel. And a star atop of my head.

This photo is taken at Bugsy's. Meet our alter egos. (L-R: Tasha, Margaux, and Cameron). Sebastian took the photo--he really exerted effort, which I believe cost him some of his brain cells when trying to figure out the names! Not too much! Good luck on the test.

I also have a habit of adjusting the time, advancing it to 4 hours. I tend to bug my friends asking what the REAL time is. Why? I want to get a feel of going home EARLY in the morning. Today, I went home at 6am.

That is all.

P.S.
Thank you to the people who take the time to visit my blog and send me private messages on Multiply and Facebook! Thank you, one and all. It makes me really happy and want to blog some more! Oh yeah, 10,000+ hits! Woohoo!

THE 5TH PAGE

With only an hour of sleep, I go to school--Pearl Drive, the place to be. I walk into Starbucks, order my usual--Iced Venti Vanilla Latte, as I wait for Jewel to arrive. I take out a cigarette, seriously a very bad habit. I people watch for 6 minutes, get bored, grab my new book, "Long For This World" by Michael Byers. I am on the 5th page.

THIS IS HOW I SHOULD BE SPENDING MY DAY.

With only an hour of sleep, I drag my ass to Teacher's Village--IPD, a foreign place to be. I walk to the Sari-Sari Store, order RC cola in plastic, as I wait for Jewel to arrive. I take out a cigarette, seriously a bad habit. I people watch 6 minutes, get bored (and annoyed--there are so many tricycles that pass by), grab my new notebook to write random thoughts. I am on the 5th page.

Goodies from Fully Booked: Notebook by Divinas Palabras and a Michael Byers Novel.

NEVER FAIL

I remember the times when it was easy to say things, speak your mind without any hesitations. No care for the world because you said something that was YOURS. Eight years ago, that was our scene—my friends and I. The location of the scene: our classroom back in first year high. Speaking our minds and throwing lines at each other such as, “I hate your hair”, “I don’t like your boyfriend”, and the like would happen on a daily basis. Cliché as it may sound… College may have separated us but the friendship never faded. Surprisingly, nothing’s changed—well, except for developed body parts, which I never really experienced but let’s not get into that; unknown heartbreaks that either caused shock and relief; and even death. My friends and I have been blessed with openness in our friendship. We speak our minds whether it be about weight gain and disapproved boy toys.

Although there are times when we keep things to ourselves, we never fail to resort to a hug as an alternative. We never fail, it is still our scene.

L-R: Laverne, Karryl, Shai, Me, Kat, and Kandz. Missing that night: Karla and Con.

P.S.
I had this stored in my phone since Wednesday. I love you!
