It's become a habit. The moment I wake up, I turn on my laptop and stay on the net for hours. I think that the internet is one of the most amazing gifts from God. THANK YOU!

BAD NEWS: See, I've been meaning to go to Africa since the beginning of college. Thanks to the National Geographic Channel (and Oprah), I've learned to set my goal. I've got my eye on the prize and I'm gonna make sure that I bring home the bacon (?). Anyway, a lot of people, especially my 

friends, KNOW how much I wanna go there and how much I wanna help the people there (my target: the women). "Stop female mutilation", "Stop abusing women", "Equal rights", and "More Wilkins water" (NO, MAHAL PALA), "Kahit VIVA nalang, 12 pesos lang!". All these, I'm afraid I can't do until of course I'm filthy rich and the CEO of my MNC. I just found out yesterday that the fare going to Africa is way too expensive, that going to the US would be a lot cheaper!

Chey Mayuga: Ish, my dad went to Africa. 

Me: Why didn't you go?

CM: It's expensive eh! Mas mahal pa yung fare than going to the US.

Me: Talaga??? Akala ko yung pamasahe (to Africa) parang papuntang Cubao lang!

So there. I am devastated as the victims of hurricane Katrina and Bagyong Frank. So the least that I could do is: have a theme every week. And write something about it here. This week, it's WORLD PEACE. I'm not gonna talk about countries, that'd be stressful as it requires a lot of research. Just for the sake of blogging? NO FRICKIN' WAY. I can actually wrote about anything that would remind  me of WORLD PEACE, something that's not dragging, like PEAS, for example.

COMING SOON

There are two very important events happening very soon. My cousin, Clara, is finally turning 18 (she's getting THE WATCH!) and Kong-kong Albert and Ama Perly's 50th anniversary. I felt a bit nauseous after dance practice awhile ago. Yes, dance practice. The five of us are doing Charleston, it was a hit during the 20's. Wee. I'm so excited because the "little" girls are doing Folk. HA HA HA HA! Our's is the best! 

No school for me tomorrow. I'm calling in sick. :-( And I promise myself that I wouldn't cut anymore. I slept the entire day and ate when I'm awake. I'm as big as an elephant, really. I gained so much weight and its attacking my very low self-esteem. Why me??? I always wonder.

SOMETHING TO PONDER ON

I had two hours of sleep last night and WorkSoc isn't to blame. I was able to finish the outline before midnight last night and I'm quite uncertain about finishing earlier. But then, I started really early. Okay, never mind. Zombie-ish is a result of "Keeping up with the Kardashians" and "Desperate Housewives" (who, by the way, left me hanging. I didn't like it. :-()

Two of my then-professors asked me, "How are you?". One asked me while we were walking to the elevator and the other asked me while we were in the elevator. I gave them the same answer: "I'm good."

Nothing wrong with that. But see, my Ethics professor, witty as she is, said: "Yeah... When I asked someone, 'How are you?', that person answered, 'I'm good...' I wanted to answer back and say, 'Why? Were you even evil?', but of course, I did not say that." She assumes that maybe the answer is brought by the trends and the fashion that we have today. OKAY. 

So, let's just stick with the, "I'm-fine-thank-you..." line. Better safe than sorry!

Stayed at Mozu for 6 and a half hours straight with Diane and Anj. Diane and I were daydreaming about Edward Cullen. I wanna be a vampire. Really. Anj and Diane are still in Mozu, right where I left them.

WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH BRAZIL? I FUCKIN' SUGGEST THAT IT SHOULD DONATE THE PROCEEDS OF THEIR RUBBER SOLES TO THE POOR. OR... FEED THEM THE MOTHERFRICKIN' RUBBER SOLES!

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

Before anything else, HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!

I don't think it's okay to blog about this BUT...

It's not all the time that we hear mass with Pop but since it's Father's Day, he decided to stay in Manila for the occasion. We took the 12:15 mass at Mt. Carmel and decided to sit at the 4th row, just across the altar. The weather is not cooperating, yes, it was hot, but it's really fine by me. And THEN, a couple (boyfriend-girlfriend) decided to sit across us. Again, fine by me, or at least I thought so. They were canoodling for the whole duration of the celebration. They weren't cute, mind you. EXCUSE ME for saying this but, these are the JOLOG COUPLE YOU'D SEE IN SOME LOW-CLASS MALLS AND PROBABLY LUNETA PARK BECAUSE THEY RAN OUT OF MOOLAH. See? I'm sorry. I don't mean to be such a brat, but hello! We were in church. People go to church because of their personal reasons and that doesn't include PDA. 

TO THE JOLOG COUPLE (I really, really, really hope they read this but then again, they're jolog, hence not having internet access):

MGA GAGO KAYO. You guys are not cute. You guys are nasty. Dahil sa inyo, I have sinned! I mean, yung panlalait ko reserved sa lugar na hindi simbahan at reserve lang kay Bob, Pat, Kam, Anj, Diane, and Trix. (ha ha). And please lang, mali yung pinuntahan niyo. Simabahan, hindi motel, or in your case, LUNETA! RRRR. 

You know how jolog they are? The guy obviously hasn't taken a shower and managed to put on gel. The girl was "feeling" hot and was in need of a salon day. I could have sworn there were flies following them and I am not exaggerating! I should have taken a photo of them but that would be rude. To God. AAAAAAH!

They are the most filthy couple I've seen in my entire life! Parang ka-kosa yung lalake at yung babae, ang buhok naman! OH MY LORD! Her curls are close to kinky. EW! The old lady beside them shushed them already. If I were them (God, forbid!), I'd leave or transfer, to say the least. Dahil mahihiya ako sa LV bag ng mga tao sa paligid ko! MOTHERFUCKERSSS.

Pop and I were super touched to see the old couple infront of us. THAT IS CUTE. The couple across us? NOOOOOOT! 

We had lunch at Cibo. I ATE A WHOLE LOT! Pop ordered two dishes and I had to take a bite from each of their plates! I was hungry and upset. So... HA HA HA! I finally got the Keyboard Shield that I wanted in iGig! WEEE!

ON A SATURDAY NIGHT

After a very exhausting (yet interesting) day, I decided to take a nap before reading for ComPol. My nap, however, turned out to be a 6-hour nap. I woke up because it was freezing. So, anyway, I am down to the 11th page of my ComPol readings and I felt exhaustion (and frustration) once again! I haven't gone down to half and I already gave up, hence the blogging (and the pity party).

I was at Toni's Salubong Party, but I had to leave before 12! I am so excited to see Prof. Avila tomorrow, I mean LATER! WOOHOO. Insert sarcastic tone. I was craving for a red grape since last night and I dragged Sean to dinner at Cibo. I should really take photos of my food. I am a slave for FOOOOD, hence the huge arms that I have sported over the summer! But now, it's ended but the evidences, I have yet to bear. BOOHOO.

ANOTHER REALIZATION

I tend to space out most of the time. It's this unconscious thinking of the past events that keeps haunting me. Everyday I wake up thinking about my brother--how much I miss him, how I'm never gonna see him, at least for the meantime. I got to bed with him at the back of my mind. That's my daily routine. Thinking about the pasts hurts. But what's difficult is looking at the future. Thinking of how he's never gonna be with us, physically. All the occasions that call for a family photo will bring too much memories. It will never be the same again.

I think about the "depression" I had for the past few months, it was too much for me to take that I almost brought myself to a shrink (KIDDING). And I felt that it's gonna take me a long time to, um, heal. But I remember talking to Shelley at a BBQ party. I asked her how she managed to "get over it". She said, "kung sa daddy ko nga nakaya ko.. eto pa kaya..." (or something to that effect). And then I thought, yeah. And from then on, I promised myself that the one thing that I'm allowed not to get over is my brother's death and nothing else. And the rest? CHICKEN FEET.

I am bad with photography. The cake looks more palatable in "real life", otherwise I wouldn't have eaten eat huh. The sugar rush is making me nauseous. It was a fairly good news, what my Mom told me. I just got out of the shower when she said: "Hey, Achi. Gusto mo mag-shopping?". I got giddy and just smiled. Then she goes, "Ng kotse?". I had a wider smile. YAY! Then Pop called me and said that he was getting me a new car! YAY! He even joked around and said he was gonna get me a Mazda 3. Yes, a Mazda 3-wheel. HA HA. But I, being the good daughter that I am said that I'd be okay with any car. :) Tita Donna called him and asked what color I like. I said, black. Pop said, "anything but black". Whatever. Purple nalang! SuggestionsAHEMsuggestions. ;-) Okay, I'll stop now. I have to get ready for the party. WOOHOO.

It was 5:00am when I barged into Nikole and Zia. They were still up, what ever did I expect? So, we had McDonald's and had the guard call us first before the delivery guy arrives, because we didn't want to wake Mommy up. So, Kuya Guard was the look-out. HA HA. THANKS, LADIES. My stupid cel almost fell into the pool awhile ago. Thank you very much. I was playing Guitar Hero while ago, while Clara was chatting the night away. I guess becoming a rock star is out of my itinerary. BOOHOO. I am improving though. ;)

Okay, today is one of those days that students from UA&P dread. ONLINE ENLISTMENT. Incoming 4th year students are allowed to take CAS subjects, that is, if ever we get through the stupid site. I called the reg and the lady who answered was nothing but welcoming so I didn't thank her when I got off the phone with her! She should be fired! 

Speaking of phones, I also got off the phone with Pop. He brought good news! I think I'm getting a BIG surprise from him real SOON. I AM SO FRICKIN' EXCITED. I SHOULD STOP BEING SO MATERIALISTIC.
