I miss the good, old days when I can just observe things and people and put it into writing, in my case, blogging. I have not time in my hands to do things that I do for leisure, like reading a novel. I am piled up with a ton of work that even I cannot comprehend. At the end of the day, I wonder how fast time flies and that it would be better if there were 49 hours in one day. Then my life would be easier. But you know, these things, although difficult to handle, are blessings. The "paper-after-paper" and "tests-after-tests" are reminders--simple post-its, as if to say: "others would kill to handle the stress you are currently enduring". After you have realized this--that a lot of people are not too blessed to get the education that ATM you are taking for granted (or cursing)--you are fine.
I am sick due to school stress. But it is okay. I will try not to complain about these petty things. I am blessed.
Anyway, I love how girly my phone is right now. As most of you would know, I am such a BlackBerry fan. I have convinced quite a number of friends to convert from their old phones to a BlackBerry. I will give you an example, my cousin from Canada messages me on Facebook one day asking about the wonders of a BlackBerry. I told her: Ate, you have to get one now. Your life will change. Ya-da, ya-da, ya-da. When I woke up, approximately 4 hours, I got a BBM request from her. It is rad.
OK. I am gonna rest now.

MAKEUP SESSION
Quick post and I know I have been out of the loop, like always. The next couple of weeks will be tough--so tough, not to mention stressful, that tears are starting to form in my eyes. Wish me luck!
OK. Back to business. I am not a big fan of make-up, unlike my sister. I live by a make-up kit that contains the basic of the basics. I'm big on eyeliner and ultra-vamp eyelashes.
Let's start. The dark circles under my eyes are present by default. I dab in just a thin layer of Couvrance compact foundation cream around my eyes (yes, even on my eyelids, just to even it out) for a concealer-feel.
I use Premiere skincover, a 2-way foundation with a powder finish, to cover up the rest of the blemishes. I'm not a make-up expert (I can only put make-up on myself) but I do not use sponges when I apply foundation on my face. I just use my fingers to even out the foundation. It works better that way for me. I think you should try it too.
I never leave the house without blush-on. I am not brand-specific. When I run out of blush, I do two things: I borrow my sister's (because she has A LOT of make-up plus great brands too) OR I ask my mom to get me one (any color with a pink shade). I draw circles around the apples of my cheeks as I smile like a mad person. The important thing is I also run the brush across the mid-section of my nose for a natural look.
To avoid oiliness in the face, I put on face powder after I have done the aforementioned "tips". Another tip: I do not put foundation on my cheeks. I leave that part make-up free when I am blemish-free. I just put blush-on because the effect would be a "blushing-because-of-heat".
Transforming my eyes is my favorite thing. I use Estee Lauder BROWN eyeliner pencil. I put it on my lashline--just one or two strokes because when I am on to my third stroke, I get teary-eyed already. This makes your eyes bigger. And then I put eyeliner on my eyelids. I go from outer to inner. Sometimes I tweak it a little bit and I literally color from my eyelids and around the lower lashline (just like the photo below, the one with the Jabbawockee).
Get an eyelash curler (does not matter what brand) and heat the top part with a hair dryer for about 5-6 seconds. Be careful, the metal might be too hot (my ninang did this when I taught her how to keep lashes "up" until after midnight, she ended up scalded! Sorry!). And then curl your lashes (divide into 3 sections), hold the grip for 10 seconds and work from bottom-up. I do not apply mascara in a traditional way, I hold the wand vertically so that I could comb every lash and spread it out. I usually go to school in the morning, therefore, I am exposed to sunlight, wind, what have you, almost all the time. When I get home after dinner, my eyelashes are the same way as when I left home. My mom is always surprised because of my no retouch rule. I do not attempt to curl lashes AGAIN when I have already applied mascara. I might break, I am paranoid.
I just dab on some Chapstick! But I rarely do!!! :-(
I am so sorry for this post. I am not ending this. Just to show appreciation to Mel (thank you for stumbling upon my site), I am free-"blogging".
Follow me!
P.S.
Again, this is just how I put on my make-up. There are people who messed up my chatbox saying that I have to "LOWER DOWN MY FACE POWDER". I took this literally. I had to say that. HA HA HA HA.

JABBA-WHO?
I find this really funny.
My caption: I MET ONE OF THE JABBAWOCKEEZ.
If they hold a contest for "Jabbawockeez: The Look For Less", I will definitely enter this photo. For serious!

CORRUPTION
I was on Facebook when I saw this photo in the POLIS - IPE page. At first glance, this photo of me is so wrong--premise: I was chewing with my mouth open, playing with my food, and eating tissue. The nails... I will NOT talk about. Then I study the horrible photo again. I was in blue, yellow, and red (that would be my slightly pink cheeks and I am counting that as red). The Philippines.
Corruption exemplified by being a glutton. And eating tissue.
I hope the next president would address this problem. CORRUPTION IN THE PHILIPPINES.
Vote wisely and kick her out. Not her as in her. Her, ME.

THIS IS THE BEST TIME TO BLOG
Because of 2 reasons: first, it is almost 4AM and I am still up, busy scouting for new TV shows that I would eventually be addicted to and second, it isn't the 14th anymore, so no more of those cheese-y or bitter posts.
I am here to talk about how I live in the lives of my favorite characters and how I relate to each of their stories. Although I am not in love with a vampire, (I mean, the closest thing I have gotten to one is hear Edward Cullen's voice on the rip-off audiobook I downloaded before) I can relate to Vampire Diaries' Elena's compassion for her loved ones. Although I am not in love with a director, (the only thing I have gotten close to a one was when I was asked to run back and forth in heels, hold a cellphone "correctly", and I forget the rest) I think I can relate to One Tree Hill's Brooke's guard when it comes to falling in love.
I think every girl does. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it. Even if it means wearing big sunglasses to Starbucks and using the word "like" a million times in a sentence. There is nothing wrong with it because these characters, in times of loneliness and heartbreaks, they step up--they still look pretty and shrug of their problems. I think every girl should, even for a short time. We deserve that.
I played director and screen captured this. One of the most heartbreaking scenes that I repeated over 5 times. If only I could tweak it a little bit and OWN it.
"My attendance is bad but my intentions are good", One Tree Hill Season 7 Episode 16.
P.S.
There are signs of being "UberBitter" but if you please.

HI, I LIKE NOODLES.
Confession: I have not come to terms with the dancing dragon. I have been terrified by the red dancing dragons you see in the opening of new businesses owned by Chinese--yes, the ones you see with at least 5 people inside, usually in white shirt and red pants. And yes, the ones during Chinese New Year's. While I was on my way to grab coffee with my friends, I saw one on the road. I am not terrified anymore. I think. I did not scream. Some of you would ask something rhetoric, like, "Because you were in the car?". Maybe. Point is, I have to embrace my roots and a big part of that is the dragon dance. Funny, since I was a little girl, dragons have been invited to our house almost ALL the time. So now, I conclude that dragons are funky. I can feel that this is my year. Dragons bring good luck. Bring on the luck, after all, I was born a dragon!
The photo below is inspired by New Year's, which I will spend in Quezon with my dad. I miss him so much.
I love spicy noodles. Try out Weiwei, it is the best! It is best eaten with chopsticks!

MANUEL NAMED THIS "WHOLESOME" ON FACEBOOK
This week's been busy but today is Friday and I am in need of a break. It is such a huge bonus to have friends that I can message anytime and ask if they are available for lunch. Lunch was last Wednesday. The photos I will be sharing are all from Manuel's camera. My tummy ached from excessive laughter.
Mr. Kurosawa, Eastwood with Ben, IC, Manuel, Eleu, and Shai.
Manuel and I feeling very "The Hills" in my car--windows down, deep drag from our yosi, we are so VERY COOL. While he was thinking "The Hills", I was veering towards "The Wakefield Twins: Elizabeth and Jessica". Glad I got to share my drama with this girl.
COMMERCIAL: IC (and) Shai, as I have been stating in my posts, is a fashion designer and her shop, "Rendezvous" will open soon. Deets re: the shop SOON!
The lighting is very pretty. No flash from Manuel's digital camera.
There is one photo that is too entertaining and I feel like it deserves a separate entry. This is all for now.

THE PLAYLIST
This has been a busy, busy week! Let me give you a run down. I had midterm yesterday. I had to study three sessions: Hegemony, Regimes, and Domestic Politics. All in all, there are 21 readings--approximately 25-50 pages PER reading. It was, according to my professor, a 2-hour test. Fine, he gave us an extension. I spent one and half hours answering question number 1. Okay, that is the story. How I studied for it is a different one.
I am very fond of making playlists--each categorized according to mood and day (e.g. Lazy Sundays, Jumpy Saturdays, Heartbreak Wednesdays) ... LAME I know. Before you laugh, which I know you will, I would just like to say that I have improved. Why? I used to make Brooke-Lucas playlist and a While-Reading-Twilight playlist.
I will share the songs and will put it in random. This is fun, you get to categorize them according to the lame-ass sets. HA HA HA.
Breakable - Ingrid Michaelson
I Want You To Want Me - KSM
In Pursuing Design - VersaEmerge
Happy - Sister Hazel
Make It Mine - Jason Mraz
Tidal - Imogen Heap
Breakfast At Tiffany's - Deep Blue Something
Allow Me To Introduce Mr. Right - The White Tie Affair
Half Of My Heart - John Mayer
The Quiet Screaming - The Legion Of Doom
Show You Love - Jars of Clay
Let Me Fall - Alexz Johnson
Assurance Closure - Artist Vs. Poet
These songs played on random. You know how you wake up in the morning and you select SHUFFLE SONGS on your iPod? The first song will be a sign of how the rest of your day will go. That's what I do.

LOVESHACK
Road rage, prostitution, Haiti… these are only but a few things that made me depress today. Or so I thought.
Love.
A feeling that is so vague, you can never explain it. I am confident that most of you will agree, it is so vague that it can be in line with the feelings of hurt, pain.
I have not come into terms with this “pain”—I may have been hiding it, or maybe I was bored awhile ago that I decided to feel the pain. You know, just for the heck of it.
It only takes a certain log in on one of your many social network sites. Just a few backs or previous-es. It only takes a few seconds, eyes closed, no less, to type in the name of the moron, who until now, you think caused you nothing but... Let me enumerate:
1. Your reputation. Drunken phone calls and text messages are never welcome in the middle of the night.
2. Headaches.
3. The infinite “All About Him” playlists in your iPod that takes you back to the old times during your drive home from school/work. This results in #2.
4. A low grade in your paper.
5. Vast amount of blabbing to your friends over coffee/drinks when you could have talked about something like “how beautiful the world is”.
6. Increasing the number of the people you follow on Twitter (TheDailyLove, thelovestrings, LoveYourself, and the like)
7. Your soul.
Okay. I was not serious about the last one. I just had to end it with a bang. Point is, love is not something you should worry about, much less, think about. Someone broke into your core, you fell for it, he left, and never called the next day. I say, “so what?” I will never ever recommend that you put “regret” in your dictionary—it is such a hasty judgment. Take it in: the pain, the anger; then channel it in and allow yourself to transform this into something positive. Remind yourself constantly: Now, you know. That you should not watch Romantic-Comedies? No. That guys are morons? No. That you are the dimwit that fell into their trap? No.
Think about this, you are here in one piece with a great set of support groups—AA or not. You are packed with knowledge, armed with wisdom, and backed up with hope that someday you will never ever have to cringe when you see his photo.
You are not killed in a road rage. You are not a victim of prostitution. You did not experience the unfortunate event in Haiti.
So, why worry about something that is so shallow as compared to the ones mentioned above? And why stress about the moron that you will surely laugh about in 5 years?

HELLO MADERFACKERS!
If you could just excuse the title... It's an inside joke. As suggested by my wonderful friends, I am going to dedicate a blog entry to the official gate crashers of Ortigas. I am currently in my balcony, armed with a pack of cigarettes and my nth cup of coffee, taking a break from editing my essay.
Although my BB connection was down last Friday, I was able to manage to take a photo of the people who have gate crashed for the first time, no less.
It was Amazona who I blame for the sudden bursts of laughter and the rudeness that came along with it. We tried to be polite--we laughed in Shai's car when the gold-wearing, hep-hep-hurray, close-to-the-looks of a stand-up comedienne was out of sight. Or so we thought. I was close to being salvaged by Con upon going down the car when we came in close contact with the Amazona. IN A DIFFERENT PLACE. I practically squatted in the middle of the road laughing, trying to warn Shai that, yes, it was not a horrible nightmare, SHE IS ALIVE!!!"IN THE FLESH, MADERFACKERS, IT'S CRAZY IN THERE!!!"
I guess I should stop there? Otherwise I would fill this entry with non-sensible paragraphs that only THEY can comprehend.
Photo from my then-non-serviced phone. Shai, Me, IC, and Con.
I am happy that my highschool friends get along with my closest college friend. It is not everyday that you can see that. So, thank you for hitting it off, you guys! Photo from Shai's seriviced-and-cooperative BB: IC, Con, Me, birthday girl Diane, and Eleu.
That is all.

THE KKK TOOK MY BABY AWAY
The past weeks have been bloody, hence, me not being able to blog religiously. I am running out of ideas plus the fact that I have not been able to find the right tune. I think I need a new camera.
Quick update: I already got a BlackBerry Bold 9700, it is beyond amazing, I cannot even explain it. Add me on Twitter: FOLLOW ME! I have long, jet-black hair.
My sister, Zia claims that she has found her new love, which is photography. Here are some photos she took of me. I took it as an opportunity to update my Chic Blog on Chictopia--amazing community, by the way. See my looks HERE!
Details on my Chic Blog, which I hope you visit!
I wore this to my dad's birthday dinner. I feel so bad that I did not get my parents their much deserved birthday presents. I have been on a massive hold up--I blame myself, I am way too impulsive. My mom and dad turned 42 years old, January 5th and January 9th, respectively. I love them to death.
Why do I smile with my teeth this way? It is the start of the year. I am not a fan of making a list of "I will not"s and "I promise to"s. Why? Two reasons--I forget them come January 2nd and I think that change should come naturally, impulsively even.
You cannot see the black sequined detail but let me describe it through my brother, Franco's wonderful words. "You look like a fish, Ish. Hi, Fish!" I said, "Hi, Picnic Mat!"
I am a big fan of red, ergo, the red lips. On New Year's, I wore a red bra, which can be seen through my shirt when the camera flashes.
Leave a hasty comment, even nasty ones--I like this!!! Cheers to New Year's!

FIRST ENTRY OF THE YEAR
Hello, 2010! I'll be posting photos in this entry. Quick post because I am too busy! I'm not gonna adjust the size of the photos anymore. Maybe in the next one, which will be up in 6 hours.
The thing I love most about holidays is the carolers. After dinner, carolers go our house and this is the best one yet!
This is during Christmas Eve with my cousin Ralph and Harley, rocking his Christmas outfit!
I just had to take a photo of my 9-year old niece's Hello Kitty gladiator sandals she wore on Christmas Eve.
My sister Zia gave me the dress I wore. Thank you, I love you!
Quick and easy!

BECAUSE I'M IN THE MOOD TO BLOG
... and because all of my promises are mere "drawings" ... and because Christmas is my favorite holiday... and because I have had an awesome one. I always get emotional when it comes to writing about Christmas (as seen in my post last year). While most of us are with our families feasting on a sweet ham, there are some who "sleep on it".
December 24, 2009: ticket-giving at the compound. I do not have a photo of the ticket-giving outside our house, but the people were twice as much.
Time: 7:00AM but a lot were already in line as early as 2:00AM.
My heart is just so full of joy because every year the number of people increases. Our family has been doing this since 1988. This year (aside from the employees) there are more baranggay tanods that helped us out, but still there was a semi-stampede. No one was hurt--thank God!
These wonderful photos are from my cousin Clara, the epitome of awesome.
I will continue soon.

THE HOLIDAYS
I am now in Quezon with the family, or at least half of them. The ones that are here are enjoying unlimited food, baked garlic shrimp, baked macaroni, pansit, steamed maya-maya, beef salpicao, and suman from our helper Tess, who lives here in Mauban, and a whole lot more! I am not gonna talk about dessert because I have not tasted it because I am allergic to mangoes. Yes. While most of you have tasted heaven (referring to the mangoes), I cringe even at the sight of it. So, 2 days in Quezon and I am as stuffed as a piƱata.
I miss Harley and my brother Franco who are still in Manila doing last minute Christmas shopping and sleeping endlessly, stated respectively. I am quite worried for Harley and his travel here in Quezon.I took him for a drive last week. Bad idea. He was in the passenger's seat and I, behind the wheel. I ended up petting him and hushing him to sleep. He woke up when I belted out a Plastiscines song. Sorry.
So there (two words that my dean hates--I don't know. I bet he feels that anyone who uses these words in one sentence can be put to death row). But hey, I am on break and I can say whatever I want. Last Saturday (the day before I leave for a week in Quezon), I did last minute shopping--the best part is shopping for the people you love. I had one hour to shop for myself. I did not know where all my money went and how these new clothes got into my closet here in Quezon. Also, this is the first Christmas that I have not gotten a pair of new shoes--normally, I would spend a whole lot on shoes, starting from when I was 3. This year is different, maybe it would bring me luck? Lol. So, I am excited for when I get back to Manila. New shoes and a Blackberry, I am getting the white version, people have been calling it Whiteberry? Is this true? Zia and I cramped our time for shopping into looking at phones and we have decided, we are getting new ones. So excited!
Happy Holidays!
P.S.
I wrote this in one blow. Excuse me, I may have grammatical errors. Tee hee.

HEY, STEPHEN
I know the title is odd. It is just that I have been singing this song non-stop. It can be described as a major fail because I only sing the first two lines and then I go on singing another song.
Yes, I have been out of the loop here. But still so excited because the break has officially begun, at least halfway if you count my RM class tomorrow.
I am psyched to share these photos from last Saturday's party, the annual BC party. The photos, I stole from my friends, of course.
I got a new neon-rainbow-colored-peek-a-boo dress from Denise. Someone got a bottle of water. And one got a can of liver spread. I do not know which one of them is better off. Let me think. This photo makes my heart melt. BC parties are fantastic. I also love the theme.
This is me with Sacha and Toni. The dress that I am wearing will be out on the second collection of NeverForget Clothing.
I do not know what to think of this photo. It just shows how much of a whack my friends are. I love them to death.
Of course, there had to be a Badet series.
These are the BC girls. Two missing!
L-R: Karla, Diane, Den, Me, and Bea. <3
This would make a great finale. Everyone was so weirded out with the dedication. Diane was cramming the card she was gonna attach to the gift (I did not put any). Isn't she lucky? She got Jesus! If she sees this post, she will probably blame the Jack!
That is it for now. And tomorrow, I will blog some more because I have good news about NeverForget Clothing!

WE KEEP PLAYING THIS GAME, WHERE YOU'D CATCH MY EYE AND I'D LOOK AWAY
What a week is all I can say and the week has not even ended! I'm still onto having the same routine every night, bordering on morning and breakfast morning. I'm an owl and I don't sleep until the sun is up regardless of having 12 hours of sleep or not. Now, I have the urge to post a quick entry because of something really shallow, that no one could even care less about. I'm completely torn with what to watch. Yes, it is shallow. I just wanna share that I'm more than excited to watch my download in progress, "Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs."
And oh, I tried rapping along to Jay-Z's Empire State Of Mind, sing along to Mozella's Hurry Up And Choose, and rock to The Plastiscines' Bitch. i failed miserably.

I'VE ALWAYS WANTED A TWIN BUT HEY I'M A TRIPLET
I remember my cousins and I got my youngest cousin (well, at that time) Nikole into thinking I was a triplet. It happened when I was 13, my cousins and I came gathered at home and tricked Nikole that yes, it was family secret that I, Anna Patrizia Lozada Lim, am a triplet. And you know how 6 year olds feel so mature when you share a secret with them. It was all planned out, Trizia was out at cheer practice. Trixie, the very perky one came home from Canada. The other very laid back one, Tracy could not make it as there were no flight tickets available. Yes, she is from the U.S. I remember all my cousins welcoming Trixie and Nikole could not hide her true feelings, slightly shocked but more overwhelmed. She gulped a glass of water while the rest of the big girls were trying to keep a straight face--we wanted to crack up so bad our tummies hurt. It took 5 years for me to fess up. "Nikole, I am the only one..."
On that note, I will share the wonderful photos of the best twinpires in the world (as if I have not shared enough in my blog).
The french braid is beyond awesome. Bu of course, I cannot in any way pull THAT off.
There is something refreshing about this outfit even though it seems like she just pulled whatever it was in sight from her closet. Or room. Or wherever she stores her heaps and heaps of clothes.
That is it. Forgive me, Nikole. ;-P

P.S.
I want their book.

THANK YOU V MUCH
I am not here to write about:
How I am intimidated by my professors and how reciting in 3 of my classes seem like a tongue twister game.
How much I want to graduate and be a bum thereafter.
How excited I am for NeverForget Clothing, which I have yet to dedicate a blog entry to.
How my mom has been less reluctant about my smoking. She dropped me and my titas off at Starbucks and did not allow Zia to tag along with us because she does not smoke. According to her, only girls that smoke can hang out in Starbucks.
How coffee dependent I am, as if that is not obvious enough.
How I see things and how I opinionated I am with the mass massacre that happened just recently. On this note, let me just share: Everytime I think about the people with no mercy, killing INNOCENT people, I also think about the HERO of the year giving 90% of his prize to his foundation and 10% to church. There are still kind-hearted people left in this world.
How much I miss my brother and how much I cry everytime I think about his death.
How my right cheek hurts because of the growing pains due to my stubborn wisdom tooth that would not grow accordingly. I am having surgery next week. Well, hopefully not.
How much I love my family.
How it pains me to hear things that my supposed friend said about me.
How much I would give to go back to highschool and do things differently.
How I betrayed alcohol.
How one person breaks my heart everytime I see him.
How much I love New Moon.
How I love the smell of the Orchid scented lotion I used awhile ago.
How I would save up for my new puppy, Naomi.
How Mozella has been playing non-stop in my iPod.
I am here to write about the spider I saw in my sink. It was big and ugly. And there was nothing itsy bitsy about it. I hated that song and no one knows. But now you know.
