I had fun earlier when Toni, Jay (Toni's cousin), and Sandy (Jay's friend) went up to the hills. "I love you, Antipoloeeee", as Toni would put it by screaming at the top of her lungs while enjoying the fresh air of Antipolo. I still couldn't believe that Coors beer would amount to P299 a bucket and a pack of Marlboros, an astounding amount of P75. I will not state which restaurant because no one would ever want to get a bad review. But in total, we all had fun. Dinner at the Fajardos' was also awesome. I am craving for a torta at this very moment. After the Coors incident, we all went to Tapsilogan and Bulalohan ni Vivien. Although I am not sure of the word sequence of the food chain, the food was also great, not to mention affordable as well!
Took photos of Toni's house, which is so fly.
Her family is wonderful. We talked about Mauban, Quezon and Toni's Cheerleading mishap over dinner. :)
Toni and I overlooking the wonderful sight.
This photo is very comical. I LOVE IT. Sorry, I ruined the photo!
I just had to have a photo of the Ralph Lauren polo (which is by the way, older than I am). Awhile ago, Mama confessed that she got it on SALE. Akala ko panaman, sosyal at mayaman kami. Denims are in AGAIN! Yay!
While most of my chicas cannot leave the house without their earrings, I, on the other hand, cannot leave without bracelets and rings. See my Pol.Eco. strings?
I love Toni! I trust her with anything! I am glad that we are close more than ever. :) I am ready for our trip to Quezon. Who wants to come with?
Tomorrow, I will be 21 years old. I will spend my birthday in Baguio with the family. No internet at home, I am hoping that Pop's Smart cable would work. This would mean that I would not be able to make it to the Friday GNO with the rest later tonight.
Cheerios, Papitos!
P.S.
I am tired of this watermarking but Toni reminded me of the time when our group photo in Virgin Beach, Batangas was stolen and posted on a site. I think they stole it in some "blog". I just didn't say that it might have been me who's the source. So, watermark it is then. I may grow tired of it soon but for the meantime, ruined photos are what will be seen in my future entries.

LOWRIDER
I never really planned on getting one but ever since Franco bought his highlighter-green Skullcandy Lowrider, I got jealous and asked Mama to buy me one. All of the people working in iStudio, Shangri-La were very friendly and thanks to their enthusiasm, I finally bought the idea that the Red/Orange/Black Lowrider fits me perfectly. The ones that I had in mind were not available. Nevertheless, I AM HAPPY WITH MY RED/ORANGE/BLACK Lowrider! It even has a fur detail on it. Thanks, Mom for the pre-birthday gift! It also matches my sheets!
I shall name mine _________.

8888
I caught my counter at 8888! This was taken awhile ago (or yesterday because it's early in the morning, 2:17am) right before I left for church with my family. According to my friend, Agnes, 8888 is a lucky combo--she is an 8888 herself! I miss you! I miss OC!
Cheerios! And keep the kind comments coming! :)

ODK
Long live the girls, I say. Just when we thought that we are finally going to be complete at Shai's Housewarming Party... Balloons pop and nails screeching on board, Karryl and Kandee were missing. And yes, Con made it--alive and kicking. It is quite true that things never change, ergo people missing a crazy night with Mojos, Asti, and Red Horse. Let us not forget the stack of cigarettes that have butts that could fill in a manhole and of course, friends that tend to snort due to excessive laughter. Guilty as charged.
Shai's house is beyond amazing. OMG, I mean, ODK! I'd say it can be featured in UZ and Kat's future show, "Ang Bahay ni Mama". I'm just kidding. Her room can actually pass for a set of Project Runway, but the best part is when you enter her room. Ha ha ha! We are proud of you because according to Eleu, out of all of us, it is you who has direction. I, on the other hand, do not even know what is happening to my life TOMORROW. I mean, all I care about for tomorrow is lunch. Ha ha. But SRSLY.
Here are some photos which (thankfully) I transferred. The videos are long gone. Ask me another time about this tragic story, I cannot talk about it now because I am as bummed as a hungry lion. The Hills spinoff is not for us at the moment.
This is from my Photobooth. I had to upload this just so I could remember the elevator disaster we had before going to Shai's.
Shai and Karla
Kat and I turning Korean (or Japanese).
Oh, yes. Con is alive and kicking!
Painting by Shai. Gorgeous! I wish I could draw like her. I am trying. I just have to dance my way through drawing stick figures.
Eleu and Jam
Eleu, please spare me. Don't laugh. Ha!
Laverne and I
People are MIA. :(
All's well. I love you, guys. To bits and pieces.
Cheerios, Chicas!
P.S.
Please do excuse the crappy resolution of the photos, I had to resize them so that I could watermark them properly.

THE 5AM CALL
So, I haven't been in my best "sleeping" behavior. Yaya claims that I have turned day into night and vice versa. True enough, I felt the need to post another one of my random entry at 4:57 in the morning. I wouldn't be this courageous if it weren't for the lack of work (not that I am finished with my reading and advanced research) and the sheer boredom I am dealing with at this hour. A friend suggested that I watermark my photos because the internet is such a horrid environment, that anything and I mean anything can be stolen and re-posted with, say, an airport on my face. It happened to me in highschool, in my computer class, I remember. PLUS there are haters, who have nothing better to do than loiter... Well, let's not talk about that. I had a dream this afternoon--yes, because I sleep during the day, excuse the repetition, I just want to make myself clear and claim that I am now a living vampire--that my friend sent photos of me with my head cropped off and pasted on Johnny Depp's body. It is ridiculously funny. I have yet to buy an iWatermark software if I find the time and if I don't change my mind--it ruins the photo. So, no nalang?
This is my sister with my cropped shorts and my denim Converse. Isn't she dear?
OMG. I was catching up The Hills Season 4. I am done with it and am now on track for Season 5's Episode 4. Apparently, it is the last season. I am quite sad as I have been a fan of Lauren Conrad ever since Laguna Beach.
The sun is up and I may as well hit the sack.
Adios, Papitos! (This is getting old).

MY INTERNSHIP--OR THE LACK THEREOF
I am in my balcony as a write this.
I was on a roll trying to do research, as been assigned to Jewel and I by our boss, who is now in Spain having coffee. I was looking for a decent notebook where I could scribble in things—you know, to get that “correspondent”, responsible employer feel. So, I got a hold of a notebook, which I used almost two years ago. I was tearing up the leaves that had notes on them already. I came across quotes I took down by my professors. “You know it’s like you wanna say something but you can’t—like you’re constipated?” and “Imagine Scoobydoo versus the people of the RP”. I just had to go back and laugh until I saw—what hit me in the most unusual way—the mushiness that only a cheese curl could bear. The writings were… fresh. I couldn’t help but rewind the moments. HA HA HA HA HA. STOP IT.
As a result, I had downed 3 glasses of Iced tea, smoked—what it seemed to me—half a pack of silent killers, and dirtied my ever-so clean laptop. Clooney, is what I call my Mac. I was singing to VersaEmerge’s Lover’s Lie. Way to cool a song.
Another update for my Pol.Eco. blockmates: While they are busy with their work, trying to battle the urge to go back into their beds, going through the hassle of pondering on a corporate look for everyday’s trip to the office, conquering the traffic in the P.I. while simultaneously trying their best not to freak out and curse, and wasting their money on unhealthy, overpriced food at their work’s cafeteria, I AM SPENDING MY INTERNSHIP AT HOME. Not fun for me. I would rather work my ass off and go to the office every fucking day and spend every fucking hour being bullied by my superiors. Maybe next week, I will get a taste of the corporate world. So, how is yours?
Cheerios, Chicas!

MY TOP TEN
At least for the week. I'd normally make playlists and categorize them by genre--there is a certain genre I listen to for driving, for example, or when I need to set my mood. This playlist is rather different, their genres range from Industrial to Indie to Rock to Alternative to Experimental. I am still trying to get the hang of it though. It is quite difficult to change moods as the song changes. Ha ha.
"Like an apple on a tree, hiding out behind the leaves. I was difficult to reach but you picked me." - You Picked Me, A Fine Frenzy
"I could see you in the clouds on a rainy day" - Rainy Day, Big Dismal
"Shake it. Let it loose on your dancing shoes" - Modern Man, The Blakes (I love their albums)
"We'll hope it's not for nothing at all" - Secret Valentine, We The Kings
"Somehow you have managed to get under my skin more than anyone ever did" - Makeup Smeared Eyes, Automatic Loveletter
"I've been confused, why can't we just run away?" - You Versus The Sea, Daphne Loves Derby
"This wicked city just dragged you down. You're with the red lights. Your side of town" - Blood, Editors
"Tonight I'll be a classic work like Edgar Allan Poe" - Do It Again, You, Me, And Everyone We Know (Wooot!)
"This is where we both break free and I'll bring you home" - I'll Run, The Cab
"Try to keep straight, my limbs are binding now" - Whisperer, VersaEmerge
Enjoy!

IMU
Even with my revolting stomach and tortuous backpain, I still went out because I really miss Diane, Toni, and Angela during the break. I only have 2 photos with me because my "trusty" memory card acted up. Side note: Is it possible to reformat an SD?
This photo was taken in Uncle Moe's before leaving for Starbucks, Pearl Drive to visit Angela (who got into a car accident in Bacolod yesterday). I am really glad you are fine. L-R: Diane, Me, Toni, and April (Toni's friend).
My posts haven't been reader-friendly. I talk about the most unusual things. By the way, Toni's friends are so much funnn. Bumped into Kam, too. I miss you.
Kam in whiney tone: EHHHHH, AYOKO PA UMALISSS! MISS KO KAYO. :(
Tee hee.
Oh! Today was my first day as an intern. I will talk about it some other time as there is not much to write about.

HAND-ME-DOWNS FROM THE 80S AND 90S
Dug these up from "Mom's Closet". Aren't they the coolest? Saved up on cash too (which I really have a shortage on since the beginning of summer, which is bound to last for a few hours).
These are my favorite! I love the gold detail. These are Ferre Sunglasses. I also think that the band is rad.
I looove the frame of this. Nothing else to say.
Okay. Guess sunglasses from back in the early 90s.

Just a quick post before I leave. I am addicted to VersaEmerge. I couldn't find a decent video of a live performance.
Enjoy! I will post more music later.

FINALLY
I went to seven churches with the family awhile ago (Visita Iglesia) and had an early dinner. HELLO, I'M HUNGRY NANAMAN!
I've got lots of comments in Chictopia and I'm also trying to get through responding to each one. It is quite a lot for me considering that I've never expected any comments AND I've been a member for only a couple of days. I LOVE IT! I have a Referral Code. I hope I can persuade Erika Dizon, who is now on BLOGGER (thank God), to join as well. Hey, I got special mention, I've never thought that I was THAT insistent. Ha ha ha.
Bea Vergara also made me realize that I have too many accounts! OO NGA NOH. :| But hey, I am not on YM for the time being. Medyo bawas rin yun? HA HA HA HA!
Living the life of a notorious gambler. I am. Hello, I already lost P500 since yesterday.
I will eat. A LOT.
Cheerios, Papitos!
P.S.
Erika Dizon, you made me crave for tacos.
Internship starts on Monday. :|

FOODFEST
FIESTA NA!
Okay, I love food. You've no idea. Aside from living in my bed, which includes taking a shower at 8:30 pm, I eat and eat and eat as part of the bonuses of my vacay. I had Yaya and Tatang buy me 2 large fries, 1 caramel sundae, and 1 caramel sundae with Oreo--I just learned that it's called Oreo Explosion AND 1.5 L of Coke. Yaya also showed me the box of junk food that was stashed around the house, I'd rather not state where. It is our secret. Oh, joyyy!
Heaven:
Okay, bye. I will eat some more. Okay lang, I just gained 5 pounds lang naman. OKAY LANG TALAGA!

FASHION
Hello again!
I have been on plurk more than on YM and Facebook. Funny, I am thinking of something to blog about. Where have all the brain cells gone? Usually, I'd just stare in my Mac and would instantly know what to blog about. I just observe things, people (most of the time), and the words are to flow. But now, NADA. I stumbled upon Lauren Conrad's site and saw her Spring Collection. Lupit. Chic and playful at the same time. I just hope that for one, people who claim to be "in" and flaunt their spring (in our case, summer) dresses would care to flaunt NICE dresses (not some menkapoop, flop dingbangs) and SHAVE THEIR ARMPITS (whiten them, even) and second, I wish I'd lose some weight. Crisis, people! I have weight issues and I'm not kidding.
Here are some of the ensemble from Lauren Conrad's Spring Charm Collection:
I will buy cheaper versions because I'm beyond thrifty!
Cheerios, Chicas!
P.S.
I wanna wear my hair like that. I will try now (I'm that bored).

HELLO AGAIN TO ALL MY FRIENDS
So, did anyone turn off their powered appliances, or at least cut down on electricity consumption, between 8:30 pm and 9:30 pm as their contribution to Earth Hour? I guess not. I remember last year, my brother Franco, the Green Peace/IHeartTheEarthSoMuch advocate, turned off his lights, TV, airconditioning, and computer. After an hour or so, he went out of his room, literally dripping in sweat. Too cute for words and was a funny sight--Zia just had to remind all of us after hearing Mass earlier. I had to gulp down my meal as I have to run and meet my friends. Catching up yeah.
I had fun at Bugsy's tonight with Ib and Toni, whom I had to pick up at my future condo unit at Lafayette 1. Nice place and I haven't been inside. It's cool to have a convenience store just right downstairs, it is quite convenient? Ha ha. Bumped into Icey, Shai, Thad, and Eleu (who is now bonding with Toni). Thad gave me false hopes! He said Danica Acdal was also gonna be there and I got so excited: "TONI, BEBS IS GONNA BE HEEEEEEERE!" Turned out Thad was asking me if Danica was gonna be there. Was I that slow? Not being able to determine a question and a statement. Anyway, I miss you, Bebs.
While Toni, Eleu, and Ib were downing Cherry Bombs and Beer, I was downing my reliable Iced Tea. I ordered three glasses and am now dizzy.
Here are some photos, I will upload more in Multiply and Facebook.

THE SUBSCRIBER CANNOT BE REACHED
I'd like to think that love is the most amazing thing in the world. And that love, once gained, will end all sufferings and bring nothing but joy. Unfortunately, I cannot make a case in point as "love" is the last thing I worry about these days--meeting love, perhaps.
My standpoint: the good things about love--the tingles, the phone calls and sweet nothings, and even the free lunch, is overshadowed by the bad things about love--the heartbreak, the cheating, the trauma, and the unattended mobile phone.
I am the antagonist of my own love story. Why? Because I do not believe in love. One time, I chickened out on it because of its very idea. I was accused of "doing nothing". No, I did not "do nothing". I was scared because he was able to crack me. And that's one of the situations I hate the most--someone being able to find my core and accept it.
I was reading Haeja's latest post about love. Different views for two people who believe in the common good and are exhausted with Pol.Eco. (ha ha!). From her blog: holding someone's heart and having the ability to break it. Nasakto mo.
P.S.
I'd rather have an empty stomach than hearing "the subscriber cannot be reached".

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, FRANCO
My little brother, Franco, is now 18 years old. But he will always be my baby brother. :)
FLOPPS ako tonight! Sorry, guys. Na-bore ako. Rakrakan pa naman ako. I wonder why I got bored.
The other side of the fence: konte nalang, 8,000 hits na ako! WOOHOO! I don't know why I've been obsessing about the counter BUT at least meron nagbabasa ng blog ko,
The neighbors' fence that's painted carnation pink: I saw the "fastfood" branch on the way to Ponti awhile ago. It looks so calm without the lights and the people. Galing lang, how they made it look like it was shot during the day when it was actually shot at 12:30am!
Oh-kay.

AMERICAN TEEN
This docu-movie was just stashed under my DVD player and I decided to give it a try. Turned out great actually. It kind of made me miss highschool and made me wonder about my so-called identity in highschool--or the lack thereof. To what clique do I belong in? Was drama part of the package? Or are all these debunk-able?
The docu-movie was directed by Nanette Burstein. It features kids from Warsaw, Indiana, all of which are categorize under: the band geeks, the jocks, the queen bees, and the in-betweens.
So, who were you?
Read more about American Teen HERE.
Cheerios and enjoy!

TO-DO
I promise to work all day tomorrow to compensate for the time I have wasted on taking a nap and looking for the clues in the Mystery Case Files.
I PROMISE. The WTO paper will be done by tomorrow. I will divide my time accordingly, and not one division will go to the two mentioned above. OKAY.
I will look for more clues.

PHEW.
For a long time of hunting, I've FINALLY scored myself a copy of Wicker Park (thanks, JC!). I know I should've given extra effort on the hunt but nonetheless, I have seen IT and I loved every minute of the movie! WEE.
The bumpy truth, which I just found out a few minutes ago, is out and about. So here goes, I got this quote from Diane's site
“Thank you for confirming to the universe that between the two of us, you’re the one who’s bitter. Yes please keep telling yourself faulty assumptions because who knows, maybe one day you’ll believe them. But for the mean time, let me just bask in this convenient truth.”
THANKS for making me stronger. I cannot thank you enough. I survived, redeemed myself from the mistake. Again, thanks, you do not exist anymore.
I have to get over you, Chad. HA HA HA HA!
Sige. Bored lang ako.
What we've done so far: A LOT.
This was taken in Mozu. A place where we haven't dined-in in soooo long! The rest are here, so click and enjoy!

BOOHOO
Even a cigarette can't make me focus. :| I WILL BE DEAD MEAT, YET AGAIN.
I've tried all the strategies that I thought of for effective "studying". Something conducive and efficient. Study table sounded pretty fine for setting a conducive atmosphere and being away from my laptop (approximately 5 feet away from me). And as for being efficient? My study table is right by my messy bed.
My tree bag looks more like a pretty tree now! I wasn't responsible for it, of course! Anyway, I forget about the wonderful bags I have, like the brown Steve Madden purse, a present from Tito Darwin that I haven't used since forever. And the Babila bag from Pop. And the neon green Secossana bag, HOW COULD I EVER FORGET THAT IT GOES INTO MY LIST? HA HA HA HA HA HA.
I HOPE I CAN PULL THIS OFF.

WOMEN
I am still not in the mood to study and it's already past 12. To pump the workings of my mind, I tried researching on Migration (even if RM is out of the domain of my responsibilities and worries). I ended up reading an article entitled, "Engaging Migrant Women for Development in Africa" in the International Organization for Migration (IOM) site. I can never be happier. Aside from considering Migration as an advantage and a key for development, women are considered as one of the most effective and powerful instruments for development. Shall I say girl power? I also found a photo of a beautiful African woman in Flickr.com, which I cannot upload here (I don't know why). I intend to make a poster out of it, cover the walls of the old, annoyingly pink room that Pop chose.

INTERVIEW
It may be considered as a shotgun interview as Jewel and I have been notified two hours before our scheduled interview. I haven't made my Letter of Intent, had my picture taken for the CV, and all the disaster one could ever think of. It doesn't end there. I am bad with directions--I was just behind the wheel and Jewel told me where to turn. Okay.
Our destination is the Institute for Popular Democracy (IPD) somewhere in Teacher's Village. We went around the area for 40 minutes. Asked about a hundred of people for the directions, went to the City Hall TWICE, got rained on, which resulted in wet brown envelope and dripping hair.
It's all good. We got it! I am just waiting for the formal acceptance. He wants us to start tomorrow.
P.S.
Please do not mind the grammar and punctuation. I am half asleep as I type.

ERASERHEADS
Who's watching the concert on the 7th? Not me. I got a text message from my cousin, Ahya Robbie, asking who would want to get 2 free tickets: "first one to text gets the tickets!" He texted at exactly 6:30 pm. I read the message at 8:00 pm. :(
Okay.

W.I.W.T.: THE PARODY
Disclaimer: This post was made out of fun and out of mind. Enjoy and please comment on my tagboard!
There's nothing that could ever make me feel better than a cup of coffee. I had no classes today so I went to Starbucks, just a couple of blocks away from home. I was so excited that my Shoulder Sash (made by Mauban's finest couturier, Aling Taning from Bgy. Bagong Pag-asa). So this is what wore to Starbucks today:
I thought that a cup of coffee is the only thing that could make my day complete. But... I found the Boy Scout Neckerchief I ordered from Multiple.com. I thought it ended there, laying glamorously on my bed was the blue vintage coat I ordered from pBay! Oh my, sweetness! I am the happiest girl alive! So, I decided to walk my dog as I am so psyched (and totally cannot wait) to wear them! It cost me a fortune and I am not one to splurge.
What I wore underneath is boring, even for me. What do you think?
Black Tube Top by Natasha, Checkered Araro Pants by Freego Jeans, Scarf worn as belt (thrifted), and Blue Patent Shoes by Sugus.
I finally found the bag ordered from Secossana last week. I haven't gotten a chance to take a picture of it. So here it goes. The neon green color just matches the color of my eyes. Jealous much?
My inspiration for the month is Denisia Torresia. Her Fall collection is superb. She mixes men and women's wear; vintage and modern accessories; and more! I have yet to do my research on her. I am so excited for Friday. I get to interview her. We meet at the first-class mall in the P.I. (Centerpoint) at 12:00 noon-1:00 pm. Soon thereafter, I will accompany her to one of her inspirations, Theta! I am excited as a wild boar. Ten snaps and a million hands down to you!

LIKE 'EM EMPTY
If I "Empty" my Trash folder, I'd erase the very last memory of you. WOOOOOH-KAAAY. Where did that come from??? Okay, I've had my "Me" time the whole weekend. It comprises of my very-unlikely-to-happen-this-time movie marathon (watched Rachel Getting Married, Made of Honor, and Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist)--I'd watch Vicky Christina Barcelona BUT duty calls; my never ending pigging out (Cheetos Jalapenos, Coke Light, Pepperoni Bread Sticks, and my homemade Iced Vanilla Latte); and waking up at noon, staying in bed and stink til 5pm HA HA HA HA.
